Larry Mandell is the founder and President of Independent Tax Group. He has worked with tax professionals for over thirty years. During that time he has worked in most areas of taxation including domestic and international income, sales and use, and for the past 20 years he has focused on property tax.

He has worked with some of the largest manufacturers and retailers in the country such as Toyota, Nissan, Times Mirror, Honeywell, Best Buy, Bank of America, Albertsons, Allergan, Computer Sciences Corp, Boeing, Hewlett Packard, and Gateway Computer.

He has also worked with large property owners and managers such as CBRE, ranswestern, RREEF, TIAA-CREF, Macerich, Westfield, Hilton, Starwood, and many more.

Due to his extensive industry experience he has been able to develop a network of tax professionals to serve his clients. His nationwide team of consultants was developed through referrals by clients, industry trade associations, discussions with former competitors, and searching for the best representation he can find for his clients.

All of our consultants have at least 15 years experience. Many are former assessors and have thorough knowledge of the operations of the local jurisdictions they work within.
